About Rapha International

Mission

Our mission is to demonstrate the love of Jesus through providing assistance and lifestyle improvements and training for people around the world by collecting, processing, shipping and making resources available where and when they are needed.

History

Rapha International was founded in 1998, so we are in our 11th year of operation! Leadership in initiating the organization was provided by Ron and Marilyn Holland, Sid and Jenetta Allen, Cleta Cavinder, Pete Fuentes and David Young. Since that time, a board of directors was created under a 501(c)(3) as a humanitarian organization with a tax-exempt status. In the years since then, God has blessed Rapha with good and reliable locations, steady volunteers, funding and overseas destinations for sending supplies and equipment.

We have expanded our outreach and partnered with other humanitarian organizations to serve those in great need around the world. We have become known in the medical community in the DFW metroplex. Opportunities for this type of Christ-centered humanitarian aid are increasing which intensifies our need for sources of supplies, volunteers and endowments.
